Weller – Green Jardinière with Squirrels (As Is)
This is an old, vintage unmarked piece by Weller from the early 1900s. It is an 8” Jardinière, 6 ½" tall. It has embossed squirrels and leaves. Can be seen on page 145, top left, in Weller’s Pottery by Huxford. There are several glaze bursts on the piece and approximately a 4” crack from the top down. There is a chip out of the pottery inside where the crack is. Overall, it is very attractive, and the damage does not stand out. (11-10-23-C)
