Pacific – Large Ivory Shell Bowl with Colored Inside
This is a very unusual large pottery high glaze figural shell bowl, but it's even more unusual inside. It starts with about 3” of maroon-brushed drip glaze, which flows into 2” of turquoise, followed by a yellow 1” rim and solid bottom. There is an 1” hairline, one half going one want and one half going the other. There is also a glaze chip on one bump. The inside is so great you really don’t see the flaws. (11-11-23-D)
